Titan Eats Catering Policies and Procedures
Welcome to Titan Eats Catering! Our mission is to provide you with exceptional quality, exceptional service, and a creative cutting-edge culinary experience. Our professional staff is available to assist in planning your special event Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can find our catering menus and submit orders at our website titaneatscatering.catertrax.com. For further inquiries, contact our Director of Catering, Edward Lopez, at Edward.lopez@compass-usa.com. Please allow up to forty-eight (48) hours for our response time.
Procedures
To ensure optimal selection and the best possible service we kindly ask that events be booked at least seven (7) business days in advance. We understand events arise unexpectedly and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. All orders placed fewer than seven (7) business days may be subject to a 15% fee. When submitting any requests or revisions, please account for lead times, as we are closed on weekends and all federally observed holidays. Our order minimums are $150 for weekday events, $500 for Saturday events, and $1000 for Sunday events. Orders not meeting the minimum can still be delivered with a one-time fee of $50.00. For any off-campus delivery, the delivery location must be within 5 miles of Cal State Fullerton Main Campus and a charge of $75.00 will apply to orders under $250.00.
All catering services will be provided with the appropriate eco-friendly disposable plateware, cups, napkins and cutlery. Please reserve all non-food related equipment by contacting the appropriate CSUF Department. This will include room reservation, tables, room configuration, audio visual and other general information. Clients should also arrange for any trash or recycling needs. Titan Eats Catering can provide a limited number of tables for an additional fee upon advance request. Please ensure that the event space is accessible for catering at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time of the event.
Guest Counts
We kindly request a confirmed number of guests be specified at least three (3) business days prior to the agreed event start time. This number is considered the guaranteed guest count.. As stated in our Procedures, if there are any requests within the three business days we cannot guarantee accommodation and any changes may be subject to additional fees.
Staffing
Staff is available to support your event if you prefer to have someone on-site for the duration of the catering. Event staffing is billed with a four-hour minimum at $40.00 per hour/per attendant. Each additional hour will be billed at the same hourly rate. For more details, please contact the Catering Department.
Event Delivery and Breakdown
An exact time for delivery cannot be guaranteed. We will ensure your event is fully setup a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the stated event start time, and we will return to pick up equipment within an hour of the stated conclusion of the event. If an adjustment to pick up times is requested on the day of the event, we will do our best to accommodate the change.
Changes and Cancellation
Please note that all cancellations must be made five (5) business days prior to the contracted event date to avoid incurring any penalty fees. If a cancellation is requested two to four (2-4) business days prior to your event, there will be a 25% service charge to accommodate service and product expenses. Cancellations within 48 business hours of your event will be billed fully regardless of products or services rendered. All guarantees are considered finalized 48 hours prior to your event. Additions made to your menu or guest count after this period are subject to Chef choice, availability of product, and a 15% late fee. Changes and cancellations must be submitted by the requester or event contact via phone at (657)-278-8217 or email at titaneatscatering@compass-usa.com.
Payment
For on-campus CSUF event holders, payment can be made via check, credit card, purchase orders, or ACH wire transfer and must be made within 10 business days of your event. For off-campus or non-CSUF event holders, payment can be made via check or credit card and must be made within 5 business days of your event. If you are utilizing CSUF allocated funds (HRE, VPSA, or INKIND), please inform the catering staff upon booking.
Menus
The Titan Eats Carved and Crafted menu is a full service catering option whose pricing includes the labor, delivery, breakdown, and rental of our catering equipment. Titan Take Out Menu is a limited casual catering option served in disposable pans with disposable service ware and cutlery provided. Delivery is not included for Titan Takeout orders and are required to be picked up at the Titan Dining Hall front desk. For more details, please contact the Catering Department.
Food Safety
For the health and safety of our guests, we do not advise the removal of food from the event space outside of the contracted event times. By USDA and FDA standards, 4 hours is the maximum recommended length of time food can remain exposed without temperature control. If food is removed from an event, the Catering Department is not responsible or liable for the quality or safety of these items.
Dietary Restrictions
We are happy to accommodate special diets upon request. Please confirm all dietary and allergen meals needed no later than five (5) business days prior to your event.
Taxes
A 7.75% sales tax will be charged on applicable items and services. For tax-exemptions, please notify us in advance, and ensure all required forms are filled out and provided.
Bar Service

Linen and China
Standard buffet linens are included for all delivered full-service catering events. Pick up events do not include buffet linens. For additional linen needs, please contact our catering team. China and Silverware is available upon request and subject to a rental fee.
